Training Coach the Coach
Goal
The Coach the Coach training is an in-company program. The training focusses on the development of coaching skills and a coaching attitude to employees in organizations, to become able to coach their colleagues in different issues.
Content of the training
After having followed this unnerving and energetic day you will:
- understand the coaching model: context, containment, contact, contract, conceptual intervention, control, check-out
- have the skills to invert this model into practise: listen, ask questions, observe and feel
- have the knowledge of the theories, the models and the methods with regard to coaching (e.g. Solution Oriented Coaching, RET, TA, career coaching)
- have the skills and tools to practise these models and methods
- be able to reflect on your own behaviour as a coach (integrity, ownership)
- know methods for intervision
- have insight in your own profile as a coach
Design
The training will take 6 days. These days will take place once a month, to give space to practise the theories learned. Besides these training days every participant will coach at least one coachee during the training period. The coaching sessions take place in between the training days. These sessions will be supervised (at least 3 times) by a trainer. Each session will end with a feedback discussion between the three participants.
We also organize comeback sessions to present to the internal coaches a platform for intervision and to learn about new theories and models and to practise these.
